It was an iconic day for three of the Oaklands Wolves Athletics Academy students on Monday 17th, as they were given their first call-ups to the Team GB Under 20s teams, gaining their first GB vests in the process.

Brad Davies-Pughe, who is studying a Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Computing, shone as a long jumper. Joseph Harding, who is studying a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business, is eyeing the world stage after several key wins in the 110m hurdles, more recently at the Loughborough Open, ranking him as the number one in Europe and UK for U20s. Finally, relay and 200m sprinter Jeriel Quainoo, who is studying a Level 3 National Foundation Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development has also been called up, having enjoyed a number of podium finishes in Dagenham and Loughborough.
