Four Oaklands College students, who are part of the Men’s Rugby Academy in association with Saracens, have been selected to feature as part of the Saracens U18s Junior Academy Pathway this weekend.

Saracens face Northampton Saints on Saturday at the StoneX Stadium. The game represents another fantastic opportunity for Oaklands’ student athletes to continue their rugby development alongside their academic studies.

Zack Hill, Frederick Chapman, Charlie Reynolds-West and Francis Moore are all students at Oaklands, studying a range of courses from the Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training, Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing, Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports and Exercise Science and the Level 3 Diploma in Sport, Development Coaching and Fitness.

The four students represent the diverse range of courses which students can study whilst pursuing their passion for sport. A full breakdown of courses available at the college can be found here.

Zack, Frederick, Charlie and Francis will be looking to follow in the footsteps of now-professional rugby players Joel Kpoku, Karl Garside, Jack Singleton and Nick Auterac, who all attended Oaklands College and played for the esteemed Oaklands Wolves Rugby Academy.

Chris Waring, Head of Rugby at Oaklands College, said: “Congratulations and good luck to Zack, Freddie, Charlie, and Francis for being selected, it’s a great chance to put all of the hard work over the last year into action.”
