Over the weekend, Oaklands Wolves Rugby Academy alumni members represented both Essex and Hertfordshire counties in a selection game for the England Counties Under 18s side. 

Pictured from left to right, Danny Haye, Harvey Crighton, Alfie Griffin, Jacob Knibbs, Sean O’Connell, Josh Caldwell and Will Spencer, as well as Tain Richards-Farr (not pictured) will learn of their status within the U18s County side in January, after impressing this weekend.

The eight students, of which study a range of Sport courses at Oaklands College, specialising in fields such as Exercise Science, Coaching & Development and Fitness and Personal Training represent the Oaklands Wolves Rugby Academy in association with Saracens.

The Oaklands Wolves Rugby Academy programme is designed to develop player’s skills, fitness and knowledge of the game to prepare them for progression into high level sport. Working closely with expert trainers on areas that will improve their performance and knowledge of the game, working in association with the Saracens coaching and development programmes.
